General Appearance

The Rottweiler is a medium sized dog. Usually they are black with light brown spots.

Size

The rottweilers vary in size by sex. The female is 22 to 25 inches tall and the males are 24-27 inches tall. The rottwielers have larger paws then you would find on other dogs. The chest is half of the height of the dog.

Coat

The coat is medium lenght and flat lying. The hair is shortest on the head and the paws.
